As snow surfers we are engrained to chase winter: chasing weather, chasing moments, chasing feelings, chasing adventure. It’s a tireless pursuit and timeless journey. Flying, riding, driving, hiking. But it’s not an aimless journey—we’re found when we’re finally lost in the moment.
We strive for perfection. To master our craft, pursuing the perfect day. We go with the flow and slash off the top of it – we are engrained – it’s a common bond that brings us together. Established and engrained in us all.
In the Engrained video series, we share the experiences of our athlete’s chasing new experiences and winter storms around the world. We travel to Verbier, where we get a look at the determination and skill it takes to compete at the Verbier final stop of the Freeride World Tour. We sample the powder around Verbier and the Swiss Alps with the Giro freeski team, finding the goods and the fun in the freeride capitol of Europe. Snowboarding in Champéry is on tap as our riders hunt down new spots, deep powder and steep landings. Finally, Joffrey Pollet-Villard (JPV) satiates an engrained internal drive to push himself in the Superpipe at Tignes, sharing the experience of setting the World Record for biggest air in a Superpipe. The passion and drive to explore and push boundaries is the common line that connects us all—it is Engrained.
